Dr. Jallad is a world renown aesthetic gynecologist and pelvic reconstructive surgeon. After spending 12 years in Canada and the US he moved back to the Middle East to develop the field of reconstructive pelvic surgery. He has completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Georgetown University in Washington DC, followed by a three-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
Karl Jallad has published several manuscripts, videos and book chapters. He serves on the editorial board of the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology (JMIG) Journal and the International Academy of Pelvic Surgeons.
Dr. Jallad is dedicated to education and has received several teaching awards. He is interested in surgical innovation and has developed new techniques in Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES). He was the first surgeon in the U.S. to perform a NOTES salpingo-oophorectomy and the first surgeon in the Middle East to perform a NOTES hysterectomy.
