Consultant Cardiologists perform and interpret a range of tests to diagnose and assess heart conditions. Common tests include electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiogram, stress tests, cardiac catheterization, angiography, cardiac CT scan, and cardiac MRI. These tests help evaluate the structure and function of the heart, blood vessels, and electrical activity.

You should consider seeing a Consultant Cardiologist if you have symptoms or risk factors for heart disease, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, a family history of heart disease, or if your primary care physician recommends a consultation based on your health history.
