Biography
Dr. Tarek Abou Hamdan is a Consultant Physician in Gastroenterology and Interventional Endoscopy with over 14 years of extensive clinical experience across leading medical centers in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.
He earned his Medical Doctor degree and completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the American University of Beirut (AUB). Dr. Abou Hamdan further advanced his expertise through an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship, specializing in complex and minimally invasive endoscopic procedures.
Dr. Abou Hamdan provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services and offers broad clinical expertise in the management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders. His approach combines evidence-based medicine with a strong focus on patient safety, precision, and high-quality care.
Committed to lifelong learning, he regularly participates in continuing medical education and has attended international medical conferences and training programs across Europe and the United States. He has contributed to gastroenterology research through peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
Dr. Abou Hamdan is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical University of Sharjah and an active member of several professional organizations, including the Lebanese Order of Physicians, the Lebanese Society of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological Association.
