Biography
Dr. Omar Sabri is a British orthopaedic consultant with over 20 years of experience, specializing in complex trauma and fracture management, robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement, and lower-limb sports injuries.
He previously served as the Orthopaedic Lead for Major Trauma at St George’s University Hospital in South West London before relocating to the UAE in 2021. During his time in the UK, he was also Secretary of the Orthopaedic Trauma Society (OTS). Dr. Sabri is a certified MAKO robotic joint replacement surgeon and is accredited by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) as a Master Surgeon of Excellence in minimally invasive orthopaedic surgery.
Dr. Sabri has a specialist interest in pelvic reconstruction following trauma or pregnancy. He led a prestigious pelvic and acetabular reconstruction fellowship in the UK for over five years, training surgeons from around the world and advancing international expertise in this highly complex field.
Deeply committed to medical education and innovation, Dr. Sabri has a strong interest in healthcare technology. He is a Key Opinion Leader for FundamentalXR, where he contributes to the development of mixed-reality surgical simulation platforms for advanced surgical training.
Academically, Dr. Sabri is an Associate Professor at the University of Sharjah and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ajman.
