Dr. Rita Tanios is a pathologist with specialty focus in clinical pathology.

She completed her medical degree at the Lebanese University after which she did her clinical pathology training at the American University of Beirut.  She then moved to Dubai where she worked with a leading independent provider for medical laboratory testing services for 3 years.  After which she spent two years earning her masters degree in Molecular Biology at the Lebanese American University as well as another masters degree in Hospital Management from Ecole Superieure des affaires & Paris VII. In 2014, she moved to Abu Dhabi where she established a laboratory that was mainly focused on aiding in management of women’s health issues.

She has developed a special interest in laboratory accreditation, including both the CAP and ISO- 15189, which has aided her in starting several labs across the region.
