Biography
Dr. Amar ElKhalifa is an American board certified neurology consultant with multiple sclerosis subspecialty from Harvard medical School.
Dr. Amar graduated from University of Khartoum medical school in Sudan. He completed four years of Neurology Residency program at University of Missouri. He then completed 2 years of Multiple sclerosis &CNS demyelinating diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/ Harvard Medical school which is one of the top medical schools in the United States. He received his American Board of Neurology in 2011. He worked as a Neurology consultant with a private Neurology group in North Massachusetts before joining Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts a hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Amar specializes in all neurological conditions like stroke, epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, memory issues, head trauma, peripheral neuropathies, spine, and spinal cord disorders in addition to his main subspecialty in Multiple Sclerosis.
He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
