Dr. Ralf Herwig is a German Board–certified Associate Professor of Urology with a strong international medical background and more than 30 years of experience in the field. He completed his medical studies in Münster, Germany, and in Dublin, Ireland, where he trained at institutions such as the Royal College of Surgeons, Coombe Hospital, and James Connolly Memorial Hospital.

Throughout his training, Dr. Herwig developed broad expertise in diagnosing and managing a variety of urological conditions, including cancers of the prostate and bladder, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and sexual health issues such as erectile dysfunction. He has a particular focus on minimally invasive techniques and has carried out many laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries.

Following his residency, Dr. Herwig gained further experience at leading hospitals in Germany before moving his practice to Dubai where offers tailored urological care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Herwig holds certification from the German Medical Association and is an active member of professional bodies including the German Society of Urology and the European Association of Urology. He remains committed to ongoing professional development and frequently attends medical conferences and advanced training programs to stay at the forefront of his field.
