Overview
Interventional Radiology (IR) is a medical subspecialty that utilizes minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. It combines the use of advanced imaging technologies, such as X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT scan, or MRI, with the expertise of interventional radiologists to perform precise interventions with minimal risk and shorter recovery times compared to traditional surgery.
