Biography
Dr. Talo is an American Board-Certified Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist with over 26 years of experience in the field.
Dr Talo graduated from Damascus University School of Medicine in 1988, and completed his Pediatric Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1993 and his Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute in Baltimore Maryland in 1996.
He practiced as a Pediatric Cardiology Senior Consultant in Henry Ford Allegiance Health Hospital, Jackson Michigan then in Al Bassel Heart Institute in Damascus, Syria. He joined the Pediatric Cardiology Department at SKMC in 2006.
Dr Talo is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology and an Adjunct Staff of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU).
His fields of interest and expertise are assessing and managing pediatric cardiology patients of all ages (birth till 18 years old) in addition to pre and post-operative care
His main areas of expertise are clinical cardiology and non-invasive cardiac imaging especially echocardiography.
