What is the Prostate?
It is a small walnut shaped gland in men located in front of the rectum and below the bladder. Its function is to produce seminal fluid.

The chances of developing a prostate disease increases with age. It is recommended that in the UAE, if you are over 50 years of age you should be screened for prostate disease. If you have any family history of prostate cancer, then you should be screened even earlier at 45.
