Dr Jad Chokr est consultant en neuroradiologie et directeur du département de radiologie diagnostique du Clemenceau Medical Center, à Dubaï.

Il a reçu son titre de fellow du Royal College of Radiology (Royaume-Uni) en 2017.

Après avoir obtenu son diplôme de médecine, il a complété sa formation en radiologie diagnostique à l’Université américaine de Beyrouth, au Liban. Ensuite, il a effectué un fellowship en neuroradiologie accrédité par l’ACGME à l’Université d’Arizona, aux États-Unis, un centre de traumatologie et d’accident vasculaire cérébral de niveau 1.

La pratique du Dr Chokr englobe l’imagerie du cerveau, de la tête et du cou et de la colonne vertébrale. Il se spécialise dans l’imagerie des tumeurs cérébrales (IRM fonctionnelle, DTI et tractographie, spectroscopie RM, perfusion RM) et l’imagerie de l’épilepsie. Il effectue également des myélographies et des cisternographies par tomodensitométrie, des ponctions lombaires guidées par fluoroscopie, des injections intrathécales guidées par fluoroscopie, des blocages de facettes et de racines nerveuses.

Il est professeur adjoint de radiologie à la Faculté des sciences médicales de l’Université libanaise. Il est l’auteur de nombreuses publications revues par les pairs et indexées, a reçu plusieurs prix de recherche et est membre de sociétés internationales de radiologie.
