Director of Diagnostic Radiology
Dr Jad Chokr is a Consultant Neuroradiologist and the director of the diagnostic radiology department at Clemenceau Medical Center, Dubai.
He received his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiology, United Kingdom in 2017.
After graduating from medical school, he completed his training in Diagnostic Radiology at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Next, he completed an ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Arizona, USA, a level 1 trauma and stroke center.
Dr. Chokr’s practice encompasses imaging of the Brain, Head/neck and spine. He has a special focus on Brain tumor imaging (Functional MRI, DTI and tractography, MR spectroscopy, MR perfusion) and epilepsy imaging. He also performs CT myelography, CT cisternography, Fluoroscopy-guided lumbar puncture, Fluoroscopy-guided intrathecal injections, Facet joint and selective nerve root block.
He is an assistant professor of Radiology at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Sciences, has multiple peer-reviewed and indexed publications, received several research awards and member of international radiologic societies.
Contributor in a book entitled ‘Procedural Dictations in Image-Guided Intervention’ (NonVascular, Vascular, and Neuro Interventions). Editors: Bedros Taslakian, Aghiad Al-Kutoubi, Jamal Houballah. Publisher: Elsevier, released on September 2016.
Dr. Jad Chokr is fluent in French, Arabic in addition to English.
