Dr Omar Ibrahim obtained his M.D. degree from the University of Bologna, Italy in 2012.
From 2013 until 2015, Dr Omar worked in the emergency department in Lebanon, where he looked after intensive and critical cases that needed intervention cardiology or I.C.U. He also practiced in the Rafik Hariri Foundation, a non-profit organization in Lebanon for patients with no access to healthcare services.
Since 2016, he worked at several multi-specialty clinics in Dubai, helping patients manage acute medical illnesses and practiced prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. He is also the Medical Examiner for OGUK offshore pre-deployment employees reviewing job applicant’s general health, looking for pre-existing medical conditions and establishing a medical baseline for ongoing monitoring. Further more, Dr. Omar assessed primary and post-loss incident employees through E.F.A. (Emerge’s Electrodiagnostic Functional Assessment) testing and evaluating occupational divers for recertifications. And as of 2021 he officially obtained his certificate to become an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) serving the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the flying community by medically certifying pilots.
