Dr Grace Nehme obtained her medical degree at the Lebanese University in July 2012. She, then, completed her training in the United States where she did her pediatric residency at the University of Kansas in Wichita, Kansas. She further pursued a pediatric hematology oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas where she graduated in June 2019.

Dr Nehme is American Board certified in pediatrics and board eligible in pediatric hematology oncology. She has excellent training to care for children up to 18 years of age including well baby visits, vaccinations, and adolescent care.  She also has expertise in treating those with cancer and blood diseases with a special interest in bone cancers, which was the focus of her research during her fellowship at MD Anderson.  During her training, she mastered performing bone marrow aspirations and biopsies as well as lumbar punctures on children and young adults.

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology (ASPHO) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).

She has a very caring personality and believes no children should suffer. “The strength and hope I see in kids with cancer and their families is supreme and the chance to make a difference in their lives is the ultimate reward.”
