Elie Louak, MD is an Arab Board certified neurosurgeon, graduate of the Lebanese University, medical sciences faculty in 1992 and as a neurosurgeon from the the American university of Beirut in 2002.
He served is many Hospitals in Lebanon and is the head of division of neurosurgery at the Mount Lebanon hospital since 2010, and the head of neurosurgery division at Balamand University medical center since 2021.
Member of the world organization of Lebanese neurosurgeons (WALN) since 1997 , the pan Arab neurosurgical society since 1999, and AO spine since 2009. His special interests in neurosurgery are the base of skull tumors, pituitary tumors, and spine surgeries.
He worked on stereotactic surgeries for brain biopsies and navigation assisted tumor resections as well as awake craniotomies.
In addition, he performed complex spinal surgeries for degenerative and traumatic spine, along with spinal cord tumors.
