Ayman Al Harakeh, MD, FACS, is a US Board Certified Consultant General Surgeon at CMC Dubai with 15+ years of experience. He is the Director of the General Surgery Department and Bariatric & Weightloss Program. He received his medical education and specialty training from multiple prestigious regional schools and international American hospitals and institutions.
He is a certified diplomate of the American board of surgery and a fellow of the American college of surgeons. He specializes in general and oncologic (cancer) surgery. He specializes in Liver transplantation, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic surgery.
He also specializes in laparoscopic and robotic bariatric (weightloss), foregut, and colorectal surgery. He completed specialty training in general, laparoscopic, and bariatric surgery at Gundersen health system, USA, and completed his specialty training in multiorgan abdominal transplantation and hepatobiliary oncologic surgery at Henry Ford Health System, USA.
