Dr. PourMirza is a German Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with sub-specialty in Fetal Medicine. He is the Managing Director of the Feto Maternal and Genetyx Center in Dubai.

In 2002, Dr. PourMirza established Fetal Medicine Clinic in Sharjah, UAE and has worked collaboratively with a majority of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the region, in both private and government sectors. In 2015, he founded the Feto Maternal & Genetyx Center in Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai. His aim is to provide the highest quality standard of patient care in normal pregnancies and management of high-risk pregnancies.

After graduating from Heinrich Heine University in Duesseldorf, Germany, he completed his PhD at the German Center for Diabetes Research.

Dr. PourMirza completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Kaiserswerth Hospital- Duesseldorf. He underwent a year of extensive training in Germany, with Professor Kozlowski, where he specialized in Fetal Medicine in 1996.

Dr. PourMirza is an expert in ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. His clinical interests include high risk pregnancy management and genetic testing through invasive techniques for the diagnosis of chromosomal and genetic disorders. He has performed more than 10,000 procedures since 1996.

One of his missions is to educate not just patients but also colleagues by focusing on the advancement and dissemination of knowledge through research, education and support for Fetal medicine practice. Due to this advocacy, Dr. PourMirza continues to not only support and participate as a Speaker in educational activities being held by Healthcare Organizations but he organizes both small and large-scale conferences. The annual International Conference on Obstetrics, Fetal Medicine and Gynecology is held in either February or March every year and are attended by colleagues from UAE, GCC and from countries in Asia, Europe and Africa. By doing so regularly, he continues to keep up with the latest developments in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine to give the best possible care and treatment to the patients.
