Dr Alina Vasilache is a clinical psychologist with an extensive background in clinical positive psychology; she holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Malaga, Spain, and Master of Science in Clinical Neuroscience from King’s College University, UK. She has more than 14 years of clinical experience in individual psychotherapy for adults, psychological assessments and psychotherapy for children and family therapy, working with clients from different countries and different cultural backgrounds.
Alina specializes in Lifestyle Coaching and Consultancy, EMDR, Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Her interventions are adapted to the specific needs of her clients and may combine other approaches as well. Her methodology reflects a strong background in evidence-based models of intervention, such as Cognitive-Behavior Therapy and Family Based Therapy, Behavioral Activation and Counselling for all types of Anxiety.
Alina works and supports children and adults suffering from different emotional impasses and struggles and helps them reach the inner light inside themselves. She works collaboratively with people, guiding them towards fulfilling their life goals and re-centering them towards their full potential.
Her experience as a clinical psychologist taught her, more than her studies, that the most important and helpful thing in her work is the professional, authentic connection two people can establish, and, before being just a professional in her sessions she is a person willing to understand and support others. She strongly believes in the healing power of the corrective emotional experience within the support she provides, and her biggest reward are her clients’ stories of life success.
