Dr. Rami Mahafzah has more than 20 years of experience in the field of urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
He finished his 3 years postgraduate fellowship in 2004 from the University of Sydney, Australia. He received his certificate of urogynecology from the Australian Royal college of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was one the first doctors to receive this certificate at the time. He completed a fellowship in urogynecology including both vaginal and advance laparoscopic surgery training.

Dr. Mahafzah worked as a urogynecologist in Australia for one year. In 2005, he returned to Jordan where he worked at the faculty of medicine at the Jordan University of Science and Technology. He was the head of urogynecology department.

In 2006, he was appointed as a trainer and expert for Johnson & Johnson to run workshops and surgically train gynecologists how on the surgical treatment of incontinence and prolapse.

In 2010, Dr. Mahafzah received a certificate in urodynamics from the Bristol Urology school in England.
Dr. Mahafzah founded his private center for urogynecology in Amman- Jordan in 2006 and it was the first center in this field in Jordan at the time.
He continues to run this center till today.

In 2010, Dr. Mahafzah began his regular visits to Dubai and Doha for urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery.

In 2011, Dr. Mahafzah was appointed as a member of the international advisory board for overactive bladder.
Dr. Mahafzah is an active member of most of the international societies for urogynecology, he is also a speaker in many international conferences, as well as the head of scientific committee at the Pan Arab Continence Society.

With an increased demand and awareness of female sexual dysfunction over the last few years, Dr. Mahafzah, as a vaginal surgeon specialist, focused on these cases and started his aesthetic gynecology clinic, in which all plastic vaginal procedures are done, including proper surgical tightening, labioplasty, G-Spot and O-Spot stimulation, vaginal whitening , clitoral procedures for sexual dysfunction, vaginal rejuvenation with fillers and Botox, perineorrhaphy and more.

IN 2017 Dr. Mahafzah joined the IVF group at Farah hospital which is one of the best IVF units that uses the most advanced technology. He treated infertility with IVF.

In brief, for the last 20 years, Dr. Mahafzah has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology with a main focus on all types of gynecological surgeries including all types of incontinence, pelvic floor problems, female sexual dysfunction, advance laparoscopic surgeries, general gynecological surgeries, infertility and IVF.
