Biografie

DrMohamed Nazari is Swedish-Board certified Consultant Ophthalmologist with more than 35 years of experience in Sweden and Boston.

  • He obtained his Medical Degree from Bangalore University in India in 1987 and was certified by the Swedish Board of Ophthalmology in 1996.
  • He went to complete his Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Tuft University, Boston in 1998. Dr. Nazari has attended a great number of courses, conferences, and meetings across the world in his area of specialty. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as many other regional organizations. He has a vast work and operative experience, and his interests extend to research and teaching.

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Bangalore University, India
  • More than 35 years of experience as Ophthalmologist in decent hospitals in Sweden and Boston
  • Consultant and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at prominent hospitals in UAE
  • Presented Paper in UAE International Conference comparing the two techniques of Phacoemulsification and Phaco fracture regarding outcome, advantages, and disadvantages cost
  • Member of American Academy of Ophthalmology
  • Member of European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery
  • Member of Royal Australian and New Zeeland College of Ophthalmology
  • Member of Emirates Medical Association (Ophthalmic Society)
  • Member of American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery
