Biografie
Dr. Ali Al Belooshi ist Facharzt für Orthopädie und spezialisiert auf Rekonstruktionen der unteren Extremitäten, Revisionsarthroskopien an Hüfte und Knie sowie robotergestützte Kniegelenkersatzoperationen.
He graduated from the Royal college of surgeons in Ireland in 1999, after which he completed his residency training program at the university of Toronto in Canada where he graduated in 2007. Following his graduation, he completed his fellowship in hip and knee reconstruction and trauma management with professor Allan Gross, professor James Waddel, professor Emil Schemitsch and professor David Backstein.
He has been working in the UAE since 2008. He is an expert in hip and knee reconstruction using the latest innovative technology. He is the first surgeon to perform robotic assisted knee replacements in the Middle East, and has performed more than 3000 robotic-assisted surgeries since.
He is a key contributor providing design input for the ANTHEM Knee System from Smith and Nephew. He is also the first surgeon to start hip replacements using the SuperPATH technique, which aims to give patients a fast recovery and get them back on their feet within days (possibly hours) instead of weeks or months.
He is currently the Chairman of AO Trauma in the UAE and the vice president of the UAE Orthopedic Society.
