Dr. Ali Khammas is a Swedish Board-Certified Consultant General Surgeon with over 20 years’ experience, specialized in both minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and bariatric surgery.  He has extensive experience working across both the private and public sectors in Dubai and is the current President of Emirates Society of Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery and the Vice-President of the Gulf Obesity Surgery Society as well as the President Elect of the International Federation of Surgery for Obesity, Middle East Chapter.

In addition to his role at CMC Hospital Dubai, Dr Ali Khammas is currently the Head of Department for General Surgery at Rashid Hospital, a position he has held since 2018.
